Wayne Memorial Holds Off Plymouth in KLAA Consolation, 45–36

Wayne Memorial (17–2) controlled the tempo early and leaned on its defense late to defeat Plymouth (15–7), 45–36, in the KLAA Consolation matchup at Northville High School.

The Zebras set the tone with defensive pressure from the opening tip and maintained composure through Plymouth’s second-half surge.

First Quarter - Zebras Strike Early

Wayne Memorial opened with confidence and pace, running their offense efficiently while applying full-court pressure defensively. The Zebras forced early turnovers that led to fast-break opportunities and easy points.

Plymouth struggled to find rhythm offensively, missing early shots and having difficulty handling Wayne Memorial’s defensive intensity.

Second Quarter - Plymouth Responds

Wayne Memorial continued to execute on both ends in the second quarter, scoring inside, knocking down perimeter shots, and capitalizing on turnovers.

Plymouth responded after the slow start. #22 Annie Flavin provided a spark, connecting on multiple three-pointers to keep the Wildcats within reach heading into halftime.
