Brother Rice Dominates Cass Tech, Advances in Regional Semifinals

Brother Rice delivered a statement performance in the MHSAA Regional Semifinals, defeating Detroit Cass Tech 87–56 at Detroit Renaissance High School to punch their ticket to the next round.
The Warriors controlled the tempo early and never looked back, using defensive pressure, transition scoring, and efficient shooting to separate themselves from the Technicians.
First Quarter - Warriors Strike First
Brother Rice wasted no time setting the tone, opening the game on a 7–0 run and establishing control early. Cass Tech managed to stay within striking distance thanks to free throws and a couple timely three-pointers.
However, Brother Rice handled the press effectively, turning defensive stops into fast-break opportunities and finishing in transition.

Second Quarter - Cass Tech Battles Back
Cass Tech remained aggressive with their full-court pressure, creating several tense moments throughout the quarter.
Despite the pressure, Brother Rice stayed composed, breaking the press and attacking the basket. Cass Tech answered by driving the lane and getting to the free-throw line, trimming the deficit and keeping the game competitive heading into halftime.
