Brother Rice Dominates Warren Fitzgerald, Advances to State Quarterfinals

Brother Rice delivered a commanding performance in the MHSAA Regional Final, defeating Warren Fitzgerald 59–29 to punch their ticket to the State Quarterfinals.
From the opening tip, the Warriors controlled the tempo with strong defense and efficient scoring, never allowing Warren Fitzgerald to find consistent offensive rhythm.
First Quarter - Warriors Set the Tone
Brother Rice came out aggressive, knocking down early shots and establishing control on both ends of the floor. Warren Fitzgerald struggled to generate offense, finding it difficult to attack the paint or create open scoring opportunities.

Second Quarter - Defense Continues to Shine
The Warriors’ defensive pressure continued to disrupt Warren Fitzgerald throughout the second quarter.
Warren briefly tightened up defensively, holding Brother Rice scoreless until about 3:26 remaining, but the Warriors eventually regained their offensive rhythm. During the quarter, Jordan McDaniel (#1) of Brother Rice and Marcellus Phelps (#5) of Warren Fitzgerald were both issued technical fouls.
Despite that moment, Brother Rice entered halftime firmly in control after holding Warren to just seven points.

Warren Fitzgerald came out of the locker room with renewed energy. They began attacking the paint and knocking down shots, cutting into the deficit and briefly shifting momentum.

Brother Rice returned to their dominant defensive form in the final quarter. The Warriors scored quickly and controlled the pace while completely shutting down Warren Fitzgerald’s offense.
